00I saw this sentence in my TOEIC book. I am kind of confused about what it tries to say. Does that mean not giving bonuses will boost morale and hence the worker will work harder? It is a very stranger strategy though. What do you think about it?02br

0Yes, you're correct. I didn't have it right in front of me when I wrote it, so I missed that it said "which is what they DO" - clearly an 01i00action02i00 (giving the bonuses), and not a reference to the bonsues themselves. 02br
