Strange sentence

My teachers thought of me as having the potential of achieving a pass on my course, but unfortunately core examinations were missed by me, and no further resit attempts were made available to me.

Is this sentence correct?

Is it written in the passive voice?

No. "resit " is not a good word. Otherwise, it is grammatical.
But the sentence is very awkward. We don't usually use the passive voice where the agent ( me) is a pronoun.
