strange sentence

I can not see if this sentence is right or wrong. For me it just looks too strange to be right but I can not find the mistake. Can any bright mind help me?

"I saw world drawned in repetitions. Uncontable repetitions which, coming from a time that couldn't be remembered, headed towards a future that could never be imagined."

There is no such word as "drawned".
Uncontable is misspelled.

I would guess it is a mistake for "I saw (a/the) world drowned in repetitions". However, I don't really understand why a future that repeats the past could never be imagined.

"Uncontable" should be "Uncountable".
