Strange Riddle

Can someone help me solve a weird riddle?
It goes:

I wanted nothing more than ney an I to have something to grasp on. I patched up me mouth and lose me catipolt (sorry if I spelled that word wrong)- and me an old sanity got scattered in the winds.

The three hints that I was given was:
1) Return to us.
2) Wake up.
3) Red Wall.

Please help me, it's really bugging me! And no one I know is helping me too much.
