After checking this thread (https://www.englishforums.com/English/StoryAboutAndStoryOf/bwrmzw/post.htm), I am still confused about the difference between "story of' and "story about".
If I describe my greatest achievement in life, is my description a story of my life?
If I describe how I have grown over the past few years, is my description a story of my life?
Can you give me an example of when to use a story about my life?

I suppose there could be a story about my life, which might be based on my life without being what you could call a real biography.
