Stop to knock against me!

When one is in a crowded place people sometimes accidentally push each other. If somebody does this to me to degree when it is really annoying what can I say to him? Stop pushing me? Stop knocking against me? Stop coming into me (I heard it in the street but I'm not quiet sure if it is correct)? By the way, can I use to + verb after stop or only -ing. Thanks a lot!

Stop pushing me. Stop bumping into me. Keep in mind this question is somewhat cultural and situational, rather than purely linguistic, since what you say will depend on the severity and frequency of the pushing.

  • Stop pushing me.
  • Stop bumping into me.

  • Many people choose to ignore slight bumps or one-time pushes since this is often difficult to avoid in crowded places and expected, so be aware that you telling someone to stop may be perceived as being just as rude as the pushing itself, if the push truly was a one-time accident.
