Stood him up meaning?
Hye everyone! I dont know what do these words mean" stood somebody up" or stand someone up
and my another question is when somebody falls then if we "make him stand" Is this the right word "make someone stand"
or there is some synonym for it, like "I stood him up"
actually I want to know ,does 'stood him up' means 'to stand someone up' like to 'make someone stand'
Like, if we say" the octagenarian fell down I turned back, rushed to him and made him standup."
I will be very thankful if you help.
