Still.....yet

Hi

Could you please explain why still and yet used together in the sentences below? What does it mean?

"You still haven’t told that girl she doesn’t have a job yet?"

"I still haven't seen the report yet."

This is fine. Two things have not happened yet, him telling the girl and her getting a job.

This is wrong. "Yet" is redundant with "still". Only one thing has not happened yet.
