Still/Though

A gang of zombies comes slowly down the street. The angry creatures move as if they have forgotten how to walk. Still, they manage to chase a normal person through a destroyed city. If you're watching a scene like this, you must be at a zombie movie.

Thanks, Mister.

Is "still" equal to "though" as in the following?

A gang of zombies comes slowly down the street. The angry creatures move as if they have forgotten how to walk. They manage to chase a normal person through a destroyed city, though. If you're watching a scene like this, you must be at a zombie movie.

Yes. Placement of 'though' makes a difference. 'Though' subordinates the thought it introduces.

They can't run, though they chase a person.

They can't run. They chase a person, though.
