Hello,

1. With 30 minutes to go, neither team had scored.

I have to insert still in the underlined part of the sentence.

a) With 30 minutes still to go, neither team had scored.

b)With 30 minutes to go still, neither team had scored.

c)With still 30 minutes to go, neither team had scored.

Which one is correct among (a),(b) and (c)? There is any other correct form , if possible, please help me.

You're pensively thinking about how to best place adverbs correctly. They're very difficult, aren't they?

The basic rule is to think ADD + verb. It's easily memorable! They always go before the main verb.

But each and every adverb has it's own personality and they often have some very specific rules on how to place them in a sentence. I

With STILL 30 minutes to go (the game seems to be taking forever to finish, you have been looking at your watch often to see how much time is left)

With 30 minutes STILL to go (amount of time is less important, but the action following is)
