stiff neck & piggy back

You are more likely to get a response to the "stiff neck" question if you post it separately rather than as a "piggy-back" item on an existing post.

I think the former means stubborn when you use it to describe a people and the word "piggy" in the later phrase means greedy ( or stupid?). Is it right?

When a father lifts up his child and puts the child on his shoulders (with its legs around the neck), the child is riding "piggy-back". I used to love my piggy-back rides.
