Step on

Dear taachers,

please have a look at this sentence:

"We want to make sure that nodoby will step on the electrical wires so we will move the counter as much as possible to the right cupboard. We suggest to add one brochure holder in between the counter and the cupboard in order to cover the wires laying on the floor"

Please have a general look at this sentence and please correct when necessary

Thank you!!

Hi again Pamela, how are you doing? Well, at first glance I see your sentences are good. I think the "in" before "between" is unnecessary.

Hi Eduardoha81!

thank you for you for your reply. I really appreciate your help but I think some teacher or native English speaker would find lots of mistakes :-))

To assure that no one steps on the electrical wires, we will move the counter as close as possible to the right cupboard. We suggest placing a brochure holder between the counter and the cupboard to cover any wires on the floor.

Yes Pamela, we agree that a native English speaker has more level and ideas to adapt sentences to different situations, making them better. The truth is that your sentences were good. The point is the intention you desire. For example your sentences look like you were talking. In that case, I think John's suggestion is much better for a written text and also sounds better.
