Stele grove?

If there are many steles which stands like many trees that look like a grove, can we call it as "stele grove"?

In Chinese, it is. But in English? I am waiting for your confirmation.

It may depend on exactly how it's going to be used in a sentence. My inclination would be to try "stelar forest", maybe "forest of stelae". You can also try "stele grove", your original thought.

Hi Jobb,
Well, you could say that, if you wanted to write in a very stylish way. It would be figurative, not literal, because a grove really is for real trees.
In ordinary English, I think you'd find another word, like perhaps a 'group of steles'.
