Stealingly

If I look at someone taking care that he/she should never come to know that I am looking at him/her what word would be used?

for eg:

I sitting on the first bench always stealingly tried to take a glance of you.

Please help me with a suitable word.

Yes, "stealing a glance" is a good phrase for this. Also, peeking, peeping, sneaking a peek. Sociologists probably have a term for it as well, maybe "covert evaluation".

  • Just kidding there.
  • I would use "sneak a peek" or "steal a glance".

Thanks Kris

Can you please form a sentence for me using that phrase?

I always sitting on the first bench tried stealing a glance of you.

Sitting on the first bench I always tried stealing a glance of you.

Is the above right?
