Dear Teachers,

Which of the following two sentences is correct?


1. I stay on the campus with my friends.

2. I am staying on the campus with my friends.


The "stay" is for more than six months, by the way.

Both are correct.

1. It's part of my regular routine to stay on the campus with my friends. (It's generally what I (like to) do. I don't (like to) go off campus very much.)

2. For now I'm staying (OR I'll be staying) on the campus with my friends (if you want to know where to find me).
