Stayed

Talking to the front desk. I'm leaving early and not staying the full week that I had originally planned. I say:

I've stayed for only four days, so can I get a refund. Or

I stayed for only four days, so can I get a refund.

Are both useable and interchangeable?

Thank yoU!

So the correct answer should be:

I've stayed for only four days, so can I get a refund?

Because I'm still at the hostel and haven't left yet.

Is this correct?

Thanks!

Yes, that's the best choice.
