Stative Verbs Dilemma?

Hey Everyone , I have been studying about stative and dynamic verbs lately. But I am having a really hard time apprehending the details.

I have seen almost everyone saying "I am loving it." Is this sentence appropriate to say? Well , it does look appropriate to me.But is it grammatically correct?

Because what i have read is that 'Love' is a stative verb. And stative verbs are not used in progressive aspect.

I know that there are some verbs that can be used both statively and dynamically depending on the meaning they indicate. But i have also read that 'love' does not fall under that category.

And as i have written in the start of this post "I am having a really hard time apprehending the details." Here the word "apprehend" means to understand. And "understand" also does not fall under the category of dynamic-plus-stative verbs.I have written it like that because it makes perfect sense to me.But according to what i have read , this should be grammatically wrong.

There have been a lot of posts about dynamic and stative verbs lately but none of those post have made this clear to me.Please help!
