. Recognising my talent and immense contribution, I was elected as the President of the Economics Society of my college by my fellow peers, and I realised that this was an opportunity to demonstrate my leadership, management and organisational ability. I organised several events at both inter and intra college level, for the students of my college and the local community. It was a chance for me to showcase how classroom learning can be applied to everyone’s benefit. I invited the local community to invest funds into the society where the society in turn, hosted educational seminars and speeches by distinguished professors and experts, leading to improved quality of events hosted and more funds for the society at the same time
