I am applying for MS in Finance in Ireland and UK. Can you please help me editing the SOP to the best format. Below is the SOP.

Introduction
While conducting the statutory audit of Agilent Technologies India for Financial Year 2014-15, I got a opportunity to understand demerger of a company – Agilent technologies in to Agilent Technologies and Keysight technologies, related disclosure in financials, and the various reports issued by Deloitte on the basis of which the monetary consideration and the share ratio was finalized. Little of knowledge of valuation and financial management concepts restricted my understanding to only accounting figures of the report. This whole incident has aspired me to Masters in finance to extend push my boundaries from being an accountant to a person with an understanding of both finance and accounting

Academic.
Academically, I have always been regarded as brilliant, awarded scholar badges throughout my primary school. I have scored CGPA 9.4/10 in grade X, and topped in class XII scoring 95.6%. My passion in accounts and finance led me to choose a professional course - Chartered Accountancy (CA). I have completed under graduation in Bachelors in commerce scoring 68% and will be appearing for the final exams of CA course in May’17.

ECA
Apart from academic interests, I also have a diverse experience in extra-curricular activities. I served as Extra Curricular Activity head in school, responsible for organizing and managing various events. I have also volunteered in various corporate training sessions. I actively participate in recreational activities including debate and sports competitions as well.

Work experience
As part of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course, I worked in BDO International , a CA firm for a tenure of three years , at a position of article trainee in Audit & Assurance department. The firm being in its nascent stage , have provided me a work of experience. I had the opportunity to work as a team co-operating with others and at the same time independent. Working under various deadlines and commitment has engrained efficiency, effectiveness and time management skills in me. Undertaking statutory audits of various MNC’s have equipped me with the problem solving and analytical skills required to excel in demanding profession of finance. The computer skills included MS Excel, MS power point , and MS Word.

Career Plan
Earning a master’s degree in finance would ideally compliment my undergraduate degree and practical exposure in field of accounting and finance. I have always enjoyed and been strong in areas that require problem solving, analytical and detailed study. I am anxious to combine the knowledge of, and aptitude for, these skills with my interest in finance. Strategic Financial Management and Financial Reporting (subjects of CA course) has introduced me with the topics like mergers & acquisition, Portfolio management, derivatives, stock market, leasing and capital budgeting. Moreover during audits I had some opportunities to study some of the demerger reports, derivatives and investments in securities. All of this has led me to aspire to a career path in the field of corporate finance I wish to learn the techniques to understand the current developments in corporate finance, financial markets, its application and acquire hands on experience of financial analysis. I would love to gather, monitor and crunch every bits and bytes of financial information to keep markets and companies – in the green.I bring along grasp of fundamental in finance , Accounting and Audit , an insider experience of how corporate finance is managed and presented to stakeholders, a penchant of team work, leadership and a zest for challenges.
