Dear All,
This has been a tough paper to write but I would really appreciate your feedback.
I have been privileged to be a global citizen while being of Indian origin; being raised in the Middle East, having attended a British school; lived and completed my university in Toronto, Canada. Conflating these global experiences and working with multinational cultural groups, adhering to the cultural sensitivities and work has empowered me to pursue this Masters in HRM.
My role has been challenging championing restructuring and change management with digitization of HR processes, mentoring and motivating staff and creating core talent acquisition and retention strategies. I have successfully completed people restructuring and acquisitions for government institutions, setting up the operations and HR for a media business; the regional version of Inc Magazine and Fast Company for the MENA, and handling the revitalization of an ailing medical polyclinic and restoring it to profitability. These experiences have taught me how to take articulated and calculated risks by realizing that hard-work, tenacity and commitment are relevant in life. Through these opportunities, I have continuously exacted the most efficientside of my teams by engaging them in group talent culture display and acquisition.
I was tested during an academic setback with a sexual assault incident and two family tragedies causing me to petition my resumption of degree. Though a traumatic time for me, I was committed to succeed. I realized the human potential through volunteering with support groups and being involved in community restructuring activities. With community support and focus on personal excellence, I was able to complete my full time diploma with my university degree while balancing it with a part time role in mentoring. Since, then I have been motivated to learn and excel even in my post-graduate academic interests and through all my certifications.
While I have been successful in increasing employee adoption of organization effectiveness and digital restructuring, my future goal is to pursue a strategic business partner role or /consultant while reshaping the new organizations of the future, redesigning talent acquisition and human capital growth opportunities for retention. I would like to pursue a consultant role with a niche in management psychology, change management with team dynamics.
1 st Paragraph - I would like to study at the University of Melbourne due to its global reputation, specialized courses, local and international practicum and internship opportunities with revered business partners. I am keen to participate in the various clubs and societies while being able to explore and contribute to a dynamic, culturally savvy and multicultural city such as Melbourne.
I look forward to your institution not only to reinvigorate my passion, but to also help me translate it into dexterity. I am motivated to learn how to synergize HR knowledge into creating innovative, talent based and sustainable solutions for designing the new organizations of the future with HR being a key player in strategic decision making.
