Statement of Purpose
Hey guys,
at the moment I am applying for a student program about technology and management. Could you please have a look at the following snippets and mention if there are wrong expressions or gramatical mistakes?

In addition, I am interested to spend a term abroad. It is a great opportunity to get in touch with other cultures, life-styles and educational systems. A term abroad increases personal confidence and independence. Because of that, I applied at TUMexchange for a term abroad in the fall 2016. My first preference is the University of Waterloo in Canada, my second preference the University of Illinois at Urbana—Champaign in the United States.
[...] Summarizing, the CDTM is a great chance to get in touch with motivated people from various fields of studies and to work interdisciplinary. lam looking forward to a great outcome by means of the combination of technology, entrepreneurship and economy.
Personal Skills
[...] A great benefit was that we had the possibilities to apply these skills practically on our own ideas and projects. This inspired me to construct a drone from scratch. Both the hard— and the software were entirely self-disigned. In addition, I programmed a configuration tool for the PC to calibrate the quadrocopter. Summarizing, I gained great experiences in electronic hardware design as well as in programming in C and C#.
Additionally, during my high school period I contributed to the project Max Valier Satellite. It is school project supported by the German aerospace company OHB SE. The payload of the satellite is an X-ray telescope developed by the Max Planck Institute. In the course of the project, I served an internship at OHB in the summer 2012. During the three weeks, we designed the website for the project and performed various data transmission experiments. This gave me a good insight how to build a dynamic website with HTML, PHP and JavaScript.
