Statement of motivation letter

I would like to ask for help with this statement of letter. I would like to say that i am trustful, competent and enthusiast, but i don´t know if the message is clear and i think i have many grammar mistakes so I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Dear Sir/Madam,



My name is XXX and I would like to apply for a place in the AB Collection Internship Program.



I have recently finished my studies in conservation and restoration of cultural heritage and also in History of Art and I would like to began my professional career in museum competences, especifically in curatorship. However, I think that it might be of great importance for anyone beginning in this field to have knowledge of very different tasks in the day-a-day of a museum. Therefore, I think that one of the reasons why the AB Collection internship program can be such an enriching experience is that it entrust interns this kind of multidisciplinary job so that they can value the real importance of every person taking part at the museum and to prepare their professional character.



Needless to say that the AB Collection in Paris can offer, apart from the above, several advantages to the interns: not only can offer an excellent contemporary art collection but also an unvaluable artistic environment such as the city of . Personally I believe this opportunity unique for me owing to different causes. Firstly, due to my interest in contemporary art and its preventive conservation, the collection itself could be an extraordinary field of study. Secondly, the organization of the exhibitions, its original design, having the opportunity to observe and participate in its creation and growth, are very interesting for me in order to inspire me in my future career. Thirdly, I really appreciate the significance that the museum attach to the attendance to lectures by the interns and, what seems to me more important, the active participation in lectures themselves. Moreover, counting with the advice of lecturers such as NNNNNN for example, can be inestimable in order to form us as competent professionals in artistic and museological fields. Apart from all that, it really appeals to me the fact that there would be people from many different countries joining the Program at the same time. I would like to learn a lot from the camaraderie possible in this kind of cultural partnership so it fulfils the artistic and professional experience.



Under this circumstances I think I could contribute to the Program because I have the ability to work as part of a team. I would love to share the experiences with my partners but also treat with visitors and children. I am polite, enthusiast and I would do my best to meet the expectations. Besides, I think I am the right person to take part in the Program because of my especial interest in many fields of contemporary art. Part of my studies are related to this section of History of art, its exhibition and its preventive conservation, as it appears in my resume, so I would take much profit of the lectures and the collection itself.



To sum up, I think I am a very suitable candidate for the AB Collection Internship Program and I would be really honoured to have the opportunity to be part of it. Thank you for considering my application and your time.
