You may have your opinion - but you have not the right to offend me ~~I can't acept~~ Even if it isn't quite correct you have not the right to to say it's very bad. I had a look at your profile and you can't expect that all members are techer and high educated persons. If i were so nobody have to ask a question and you were jobless. I think your " direct" speech doesn't encourage people to learn a foreign language. I would understand if the sentence were complete false

I propose to write over the questions in general " for experts only - prohibited for normal persons- pease don't give an aswer which you havn't checked twice .

I'm sorry, but I must agree with Mr. Micawber. I see five errors in your "correction," compared to one in the original post. We don't expect perfect or even near-perfect English from forum users who are asking for help, but we do expect nearly-error-free English from people who are answering questions.

The moderators here are all volunteers. We would rather spend our time answering questions correctly than correcting incorrect answers.

I don't want to bother you - I havn't known that you are member of the volunteers - and considered you as a normal member - In this case you certainly have the right to critisize.

I now accept your and the other's opinion and I'm going to avoid giving any comments without checking. . I mainly concentrate to speak and get understood . Up to now nobody neither Americans, Canadians,, English,,Scotish, French , nor Dutch ever said - " Sorry we don't understand, what you say ! You speak such a bad English."
I worked as an tour quide at our horticultural show for foreigners and all were satisfied to my explanations.

I know, that you don't want to bother me -So if I can rely on your statements , it's a great help. I' ll come back to you - I don't want to get perfect - but knowing how it might be is worthwhile.

I didn't say that you spoke bad English; it is just your writing that needs work. Many people (like me) can speak a foreign language without being able to write a single word of it. So I am sure that you have no trouble communicating when speaking, but writing requires some quite different skills and knowledge. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the written or spoken language. Short essays and letters posted in our other forums usually get help, too.
