State or Status

1. When we say that an equipment is good or bad,
should we say the equipment status or equipment state?
2. When we say that an equipment is borrowed from or lent to somebody,

equipment is uncountable, so there is no such thing as *an equipment.

Do you mean a tool?

This tool is bad. This hammer is good. I borrowed these tools from Larry. This axe was lent to me.

You should not say "equipment status" or "equipment state", if I understand your question correctly.
