State or condition

Hello,

State verbs express states or conditions which are relatively static.

I would like to some state verbs which show the state and others for condition.

I don't know how to decide whether the given verb is a state verb or condition verb.

Some are given in my books are:

belong, know, think, consist e.t.c

Thanks.

I don't think that there is any important distinction in that context. If you read that "state verbs express states or conditions", it probably doesn't mean that some express states and others expression conditions. Instead, "states" and "conditions" are probably alternative ways of saying about the same thing.
