State of mind meaning

I would like to use the following sentence but would like to confirm what it means first. Here it is: I am in a dreamy state of mind.

Does that sentence have the same meaning as "I feel I am in a dream at this particular time". I am asking because at that time I was having a good time and my mind was so happy and relaxed as if it's not real. So could that be implied by the sentence I am asking about?

Thanks!
