Hi
Is it natural to start a sentence with so that in spoken and written English? Are these sentences OK?
1- So that she won’t cry, I will put her to sleep.
2- So that I do not forget her birthday, I keep my diary with me.
Thanks,
Tom
Your examples strike me as being a tad odd. Why do you want to prepose the adjuncts?

No. It seems strange to explain why you are doing something before you even say what it is that you're doing.
