Starting a sentence with 'but' and ending with 'though'
Is it proper to start a sentence with 'but' and end it with 'though' or is it just redundant? Rappers do this all the time and I find it makes their argument sound weaker

Hi, Unfortunately, grammar rules do not apply to rap songs. However, both but and though are words which stand in contrast to a previous statement, so you are quite right to assume that one of them might be thought of as being used redundantly. Regards
