I've seen some colleagues starting their business letter with:
"On review of your report submitted .... we comment as follows,"
Few questions here:
1. Do we say "On review"? or is it better to say "After having reviewed" or is it "Upon reviewing, Having reviewed, etc...??? What is common and what is formal?
2. Do we say "we comment as follows", again is it common, and is it common to use the present tense?
3. Punctuation: should this sentence above be followed by a comma, or what?
Thanks.
