2 They watched their favourite cartoon show at 8 a.m. They sat down and enjoyed it.

2 They watched their favourite cartoon show at 8 a.m. They sat down and enjoyed it. Okay.
3 They enjoyed watching / enjoyed the TV show. Both are okay
