Start of Paragraphs

Would it look clumsy to start multiple paragraphs in a story, none of which are consecutive, with the same word/words - all of which are separated by at least one other paragraph.

"After all, it was nothing"

"After playing for a year"

"After all, I knew"

"After I finally overcame"

The first two are the closest together and are only separated by a paragraph that's a sentence long. That being said, not sure any readers would notice.

Thanks!

I have a feeling that it would bother you more than most readers. Re-arranging some might help: "It was nothing, after all."
