Stare somebody into
Hi, Guys !
A thread about "see somebody into", where the student attempted to interpret a sentence like "I saw him into commiting murder" to mean "I forced him to commit murder by looking at him", got me thinking of a grammar way to convey the same idea. I can come up with this sentence:
He stared me into commiting murder.
From a native speaker's point of view, does my sentence work ?
