Star Heritage: finishing the translation!

Hello all.

Now, after a looooong break, I am doing the last pieces of text for the game, and have decided to turn to your help again Emotion: smile

Does this phrase sound OK to you, and what are the ways to fix it if it doesn't?

«I had been waited for here.»

In the passage below, would you use "in" or "from" with "scrapes"?

«Captain wasn't older than 40. Despite his age he looked like an experienced sea-wolf, matured in many scrapes.»

Thanks you in advance,
Anton

How about simply 'I waited here'?

I meant it as passive voice, which allows to express an action and the object of it without mentioning the subject:
Someone is waiting for me -> I am waited for.

Hi,
You could say 'I am/was awaited'. Sounds rather old and literary, too, which probably suits you.
