Stanza comprehension

The Daffodils
The waves beside them danced: but theye
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee;
A poet could not be but gay,
In such a jocund company;
I gazed and gazed but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought
Questions
1) What did the waves danced with?
2) what kind of company was the poet enjoying?
I was trying to make questions for the stanza comprehension. But succeeded to make only two. Can anybody help me by making three more questions about the stanza. Also check it for mistakes, please.
