I simply think it is a mistake for "answer for" by a non-native writer, and I think your slant is a good theory as to why he chose that wrong word.

apple guava 381Also, I should probably note that the word "Moreno" in my original response was not an indication of a dialect or a type of literature. It was an autocorrect from my phone. The word I had intended was simply "more."

That's very funny. I tried to ignore it. I thought maybe it was a phenomenally erudite reference.
