Stana says...

Are you a fan of Caste, the TV series? Emotion: wink

Well, doesn't matter really: even if you aren't, maybe you could help me translate the mysterious sentence that appears in Ms. Stana Katic's twitter. Here goes:

"i was involved in illegal activities. once. but now i'm just a walking container of blood and water sending out loveballs one beam at a time."

My problems come with the second part of the sentence: what does that"loveballs one beam at a time" mean? My dictionary and I are perplexed! Could you rewrite her sentence with other words?

Thanks! Emotion: heart

Well, I can only speculate on what she meant. To me, "sending out loveballs one beam at a time" is reminiscent of Cupid (the Roman *** of love) shooting his bow at people to inspire romance. The phrase "illegal activities" stands in contrast to "sending out loveballs" and she probably wanted to emphasize that.

Dear Ivanhr, dear all;

Thanks! You are lightning quick!

Then, do you think these loveballs are love arrows?

Ok, could be writting the sentence (sending out loveballs one beam at a time) meaning so

"throwing love-arrows rays in this moment" ?

Many thanks!

Actually, I think it's just there to contrast with the first part of her sentence. (sending out loveballs vs illegal activities)
