stall or stalled?

....or that I would get “stuck” with a really, really ridiculously hot girl who would be willing to suck my eyelids as we briefly stalled/stall at the rollercoaster's crest.

stalled The use of would (more than once, actually) shows that this is hypothetical -- a fantasy wish. The past tense stalled goes better with would . If you substitute will for would , making the situation one of anticipation of a more probable event, then the present ( stall ) is more appropriate.
