0In my mind 'staggered' and 'amazed' both mean 'shocked'. But stagger usually connotes 'negative shock' and 'amazed' connotes 'positive shock.' You are amazed there are so many talented musicians in Philadelphia orchestra whereas you are staggered to find out people can be very wicked.02br
