I always praise my staff's effort.

Is the sentence above correct? If not, please correct.
How is it pronounced? "STAFS" or STAFSES"?

The sentence is correct. "Staff" is a collective nown- plural in meaning but singular in form. For one staff, the possessive form is pronounced "stafs," not "stafsiz." It is of course possible to have more than one staff: "As an administrator in two organizations, he has two staffs." One staff is one group of workers. I think you are referring here to one staff.
