staff

Assistant Manager: Tomorrow production starts for Product A. We use a new part B. Check if it came in the warehouse.

Purchase Staff: Yes, I'll look it.

I don't think the above sentences are very good. How about:

Assistant Manager: Production of Product A starts tomorrow. We are going to use a new part B. Check if it is in the warehouse by now.

Purchase Staff Member: Yes, I'll check it, sir.

'Purchase staff' cannot be used for a single person, right?

Thank you.

Staff seems to refer to a single person only in Malaysian English. The rest of your dialogue could use some polishing, too; it's not very conversational: Assistant Manager: We're going to start producing Superwidgets tomorrow, with a new stainless steel thingmy. Check to see if it's in the warehouse yet, will you?
