Stable jobs or switching companies frequently? Please help me to check this essay

It is controversial that changing jobs regularly is the new path to a greater and more satisfied career. While there are many advantages for people who dedicate their professional lives for one corporation only, I would argue that trying various jobs is much more beneficial.

On the one hand, it brings a great deal of benefits when working for the same company all the working life. Firstly, settling down a job results in a stable life. It is belived a lasting job with a pay rise enables people to meet their basic demands such as buying food, having a comfortable house as well as paying for entertainment and other activities. Furthermore, as loyal employees of the same company, people will get the feeling of security. It is clear that staying in one job leads people to know exactly what will happen in their lives, how the next stage would become, as a consequent, the fears of unemployment along with subsequent challenges are also lessened in them.

However, no matter that those advantages are convinced and difficult to deny, I strongly believe that staying in job for life-long is the recipe for career suicide and altering workplace is a better choise because of the following reasons. First and foremost, switching jobs plays a significant role in the process of discovering the desired and suitable work which would fill the large part of one's life. Actually, at the beginning of professional career, the only way for people to find out the work they love is to try out a variety of different options. Secondly, people who shift jobs frequently have much more opportunities to build up an adaptable set of skills than the others. It is the fact that trying new jobs, projects, contracts enables them to obtain new skills, gain new expertise, develop new capabilities and, certainly, grow up their professional network.

In conclusion, the benefits of having a stable job for all the whole life time are difficult to debunk, but it seems to me that change is better and will be ultimately gainful for both the employees and the employers.
