"Squaring" a Corner

Hello there. Hopefully someone can answer this question with confidence:

Typically someone "rounds a corner" ("Sally rounds the corner and walks into the grocery store.")
But can Sally alternately choose to "square the corner" by turning at a sharp angle, to get to the grocery store?

Thanks in advance!

I've never heard "square the corner". "Turns the corner" is an expression that somewhat expresses the concept of making a 90° turn.

Thanks John. I've never heard the term either, but I'm writing an essay (prose) in which linearity - esp. squares and rectangles - are used descriptively. I'm trying to figure out whether or not someone "squaring a corner" rather than rounding it, would be logically viable as a creative description.
