"Square tiles" or "squared tiles"?

Is one of them incorrectly worded?
do they mean the same thing?
Thanks.

The words "rounded" or "squared" tend, in my experience, to be used here mostly to describe edges. ie. Whether the side of an object is straight, round, convex, concave, etc.

Hi,
Sometimes, we can consider the case. If the thing was not originally square and then, we made it square by cutting, trimming, etc... It would be squared.
To make it sound natural, you should use square tiles. Who would wonder how they used to be?

If somebody tells me about a square edge I assume that they mean the edge of a square. A squared edge would be one where the nature of the edge itself is square.
