Square box paper for learning to write English

Hi,

Do you think that it's good thing for kindergarten kids to start practicing writing English on square box paper such as . In my opinion, it would help them to write clearly without mixing up the letters and it would give them the idea of keeping space between individual letters. Or, do you think would be a better choice? Thank you.
