Spring or sprung?

Hi,

I have a question on the past tense form of 'to spring'.

Many dictionaries specify both 'sprAng' and sprUng' (for the past tense).
Which form do YOU use?

Would it be correct to say that most AmEng speakers use "SPRUNG" for both past tense and past participle?

thank you!

Hi
In India, BrE is dominant. So, I have been using 'sprang'. Many others over here do the same.
