Battle for Glory

Trekking the narrow journey ahead for the great success, Azkals , continuously mark its sterling abilities and showcasing Filipino football talents ended up for a significant achievement on the International Stage and once again, reawakened the blazing passion in every Filipino’s heart.

They became the trending topic in different media and the eye-catcher on the field. I bet, no one don’t know these men, the Azkals who marked their excellence and showed their impressive performance during their battle against these dangerous and devastating football teams.

Despite being the oldest National Team in Asia, the Philippines have never qualified for the AFC Asian Cup or the FIFA World cup. However, this team enjoyed success in its early years between 1913 and 1934 in the Far Eastern Championship Games. They slashed down their opponent and clinched a remarkable victory when they ousted Vietnam on a 2 – 0 triumph during the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup. Everyone Filipino was like in the Cloud9, floating on air after that wondrous victory against the Sri Lankan Football team.

The name of the National Football team was derives from ‘askals’, a Filipino term for ‘streetdogs’. But before they achieved these triumphs, they also encountered lots of ascending and descending experiences in their career. They were once covered by a dark night during an eclipse which tested their robust heart and made them feel the melancholy of life. Enormous challenges obstructed their path towards their objective. But these problems never scuttled them to reach their goals, instead, it became their training ground which led them to recuperate and become stronger.

As the time pass by, the Philippine Azkals is becoming a tougher and competitive team who acquired stronger force to reckon and pounce their opponent who will hound them to be at the paramount of true success. They always play with vehemence in their heart and seize different tactics that would improve their gameplay. They also had undergone different training camps which eyed the development of the team, gearing it up and recalibrate its fighting style.

A glaring light spotted again the team when they had reinforcements and acquired different foreign – based football players who strengthened our team. They filled the gaps that the Azkals’ suffer and polished some flaws of the team. They are now counted as one of those catalysts who will solidify the dream that we are aiming for. This opportunity opens a big door to blast the immense craving to be successful in the International stage.

They are continuing to stay sharp and mince any possible problem that may occur. With their extreme heartfelt desire, Azkals will constantly play tough and adamant against any opponent for the flag and the country. The blood of a true warrior runs on their vein, to take any risk and brawl for the benefit of the Filipino people.
