Letter Writing

Sponsorship needed for Internet Radio Station

0Hi, I need to write a letter for sponsorship for licenses for playing music on an internet radio station I am starting with someone else, who will be the station manager. The rest of the station is set up and ready. However, the cost of the licenses needed in order to play music is several hundred pounds per month. Although running a station is free, playing other artists music requires 2 licenses.02br

00I am hoping to get yearly sponsorship, and in return would advertise them on our website, next to our logo wherevever it appears and also play on-air adds for them (free of course) as well as including them in any relevant jingles that are used. The station will play music from the 60's to todays music. There are plans for several shows throughout the day, and would like to broadcast for at least 12- 15 hours per day, although 24 hours would be better, however this would obviously cost more.02br
00We also would like to feature unsigned artists and play there music, and have several already lined up.02br
00Although this is an internet station we would eventually in the distant future like to be on sky, cable and dab/freeview as well as FM in our local area. We intend to advertise just about everywhere possible (within reason obviously) and would also like to get into cinemas, where they play music from a radio station as people are coming into each screen. This would include the sponsors ad as well, further promoting them and us.02br

00Any help would be greatly appreciated please and a sample letter would be great if possible02br

00Thanks in advance!!02br
