Sponsorship letter for a festival of dance drama and music
Gd Evening. I'm new to this and we are small art school. This is our first time organizing this event. I would appreciate any comments with regards to this letter ive just posted.
Dear Sir/Madam
Laasya Arts is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is a registered organization founded by the school principal Shrimati Usha Ramachandran to promote and preserve the ancient art of Bharatanatyam and the vocal music of south Indian [Carnatic].
Lasya, meaning ‘graceful dancing’ has staged several productions including dance drama for children elaborating on mythological and historical themes. Besides that Laasya Art School have been working closely with several other organizations such as DIGI [A Malaysian Based Telecommunication Company] and ASTRO [another Malaysian based leading cross-media operator with direct-to-home satellite television]
This year in commemoration of our 3rd anniversary we present Muruga Charanam. It will be a festival of dance drama and music performed by the students of Laasya Arts as our tribute to Lord Muruga.
We realize that learning is an endless process and art helps one to experience the joy of progress in life. We like to share this joy with the less fortunate as part of our contribution to the society. Proceeds of this performance will be donated to “Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah”. If you would like to contribute towards making a positive difference in the lives of the special children at this centre, you may address your contribution via the following:
1] Purchasing our tickets
2] Advertising in our souvenir magazine
3] Sponsoring of items for door gifts
4] Donation of cash
We thank you once again in advance. Contributions can be made by cross cheque made payable to “Laasya Art ”. For further enquiries please call: Mrs. N.Madasamy at XXX-XXXX XXX.
Regards
Usha Ramachandran
