Hi I am trying to help my daughter write a sponsor letter for a pageant she will be compeating in will you please review what we have and let us know if we should change anything as my grammer in school was horrible lol, Thank you
Dear Potential Sponsor,
My name is Brooklynne Taylor , I am a 7th grader in Lewisville, TX where I am actively involved with student council, yearbook/newspaper staff and cheerleading. When I have extra time I like to volunteer as a member of teen court, helping my local SPCA, and reading to children with different organizations. After graduating from high school where I will complete many advanced placement courses I plan on attending Texas A&M where I will obtain my Doctrine degree in veterinary medicine and later a local vet.
On March 7,2010 I was crowned as your local Denton County United America Peoples Choice Queen and your Dallas Area United America Miss. Jr. Teen Queen on April 25,2010. I will be representing both titles as a contestant at the upcoming Texas United America Pageant in June for the Texas Miss Jr. Teen title. The Texas United America Pageant leads directly to the prestigious National United America Pageant that is held in November were all state title winners along with the top 5 runners up will compete for the National title of each division of Miss Jr. Teen(13-15 yr), Miss (16-18 yr), Mrs. (21+), Ms. (21+single divorced, widowed) and Ms. Classic (44+single, divorced, widowed, married).
To be able to pursue competing for Miss Texas Jr. Teen and fulfilling a dream that all little girls have growing up I am asking businesses like your own to help offset my fees by sponsoring me in anyway. I look forward to having the honor to represent everyone in our community and state to the best that I know how. In return I plan on using this opportunity to help spread the awareness of many organizations that need volunteers and how all ages including children can start speaking up and volunteering for a cause that they believe in such as my self and SPCA. Many people do not realize that allowing children to be apart of what they feel strongly about in community organizations will help them grow up strong and compassionate. Not to mention it is easier to grow up learning than to be re-taught as a teen or an adult. With that goal in mind that is the exact reason why I chose to compete in the United America Pageants over other pageants, all that I have learned.
The United America Pageant titles, scholarships, prizes, and awards are earned through hard work and demonstration of self confidence, intelligence, elegance, willingness to help others and natural beauty not by the cost of a contestants outfit or how "glitzy" they can appear. They celebrates the achievements and personality of all women, teens, and girls at all stages of life while encouraging growth of future leaders. United America Pageant directors help promote a brighter future for contestants by stressing the importance of education, community involvement and to be strong and not give up no matter what obstacles one may have to overcome to succeed in life. They help do all this by teaching lifelong skills that will help me and other contestants in what ever we may chose to do in life while nurturing my quest for personal growth and building a positive self esteem. In return my self and many others are learning how to conduct ourselves in interviews , public appearances and speeches , but most of all how to carry and present ourselves with confidence. With there help I do believe in my self more even if others may not and as long as I continue to try I will succeed. As you can see why I feel this is a wonderful organization with many positive outcomes for everyone involved with them.
As a potential sponsor, you are being asked to help me continue my quest of competing for the Texas United America Mis Jr. Teen crown/title by providing any portion of the sponsor fees. My total sponsor fee goal is $800. In return for sponsorship you and your business/organization will be featured with me in the state program book that will be seen by many from all over Texas in a ½ page black/white ad (additional ads are available for purchase for a fee of $95 for HALF page, $175 for full page). The sponsorship fee is also tax deductible for businesses as an advertising expense. In addition to that advertisement I will do my best to represent you as my sponsor in this pageant and my reigning year as either your local queen or hopefully your Miss Texas Jr. Teen queen. I will also be available if requested for public appearances, talks, and presentations for your organization/ business such as special promotions, newspaper ads, parades or just to sign autographs. If additional services are desired let me know and I will try to accommodate your business if possible. Your support will greatly be appreciated.
