Please proofread these sentence for me:

1. I spoke to the travel agent and she said that if I leave a day later there would be no penalty fees because of the ticket I had purchased.

Are both sentences okay? Please explain your corrections.

2. I just called Southwest Airlines and they told me that if I return on the 21st of May, there would be no extra penalty fee or fare difference, so I've decided to leave on the 21st of May.

will and would are chosen on the basis of the verb tense in the if clause. I spoke to the travel agent and she said that if I leave a day later there will /would be no penalty fees because of the ticket I had purchased.
